"Goodies" to the tenth power · 658 days ago by Jason Seib

Rumours are flying around Hollywood as to what Ciara’s new album will be called.

Apparently some busy beaver somewhere heard Ciara qouted as saying “I always say I want to do Goodies to the 10th power, but the title is not going to be ‘Goodies’ again,” and somehow took that to mean her new albums title would be “Goodies to the 10th power”

This in turn forced Ciara to make a statement to MTV news at the the ASCAP Pop Music Awards a few weeks ago to clear things up once and for all that her new album would not contain the word “Goodies”

Here is her exact qoute:

“I have to make that clear because somebody wrote somewhere that I called it Goodies to the 10th Power or something crazy, but I’m like, ‘No, no way!’ ”

As for the contents of her new album we have confirmed that Jazze Pha and Sean Garrett will be involved, but they haven’t started recording yet.

Athletic Ciara loved shooting volleyball movie · 670 days ago by Jason Seib

Its been a few years now since superstar Ciara exchanged the sports arena for the recording studio and so Ciara jumped at the chance to make a film about two volleyball teams competing.

Ciara says, “I was an athlete before this, and now I’ll add volleyball as one of my hobbies to do.”

So she put aside her vocal talents and started showing off her many other assets saying “I’m also happy that it didn’t involve my musical talents. When people see me on the screen, I want them to be able to discern the difference between when I’m acting and when I’m making music. That’s my goal.”

Ciara making a futuristic video for "Get Up" · 675 days ago by Jason Seib

Ciara is busy working on her newest music video for the song “Get Up”, produced specially for “Step Up” her movie coming out shortly, in it she is shrouded in darkness with only reflected light to accentuate her curves as part of Director Joseph Kahn’s attempt to treat Ciara like a high end automobile.

When asked to describe this look he says “Imagine a car commercial and how the car is lit only by the way light wraps around its surface,” Kahn wrote in his video treatment. “I want to visualize Ciara with the precision you would give the hottest high-end car on the market.”

This song was written by Ciara but co produced alongside Jazze Pha.

Ciara in the news! · 684 days ago by Jason Seib

I just saw this one on MTV.com

Ciara is using her voice to help kids find theirs — through music. The singer is headlining the fourth annual VH1 Save the Music Hamptons Benefit, set for July 28 at the East Hampton home of Jaci and Morris L. Reid. Ciara, Lyfe Jennings and local musician Niki Jean will perform to support the Save the Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring music education programs in U.S. public schools.

Personally I think its great such a famous young person is getting involved and helping out, the next generation seem’s to be even harder then my own never having really faced any kind of serious economic or social problems.

If anything this makes me want to buy a second copy of Ciara’s album “Goodies”
